About Sisco's Guitar Trainer
Sisco's Guitar Trainer is an augmented reality app for iPhone and iPad that helps players learn guitar scales, guitar chords, and fretboard shapes for soloing. It is built around interactive guitar lessons that train pattern recognition, root-note awareness, and the chord relationships behind real guitar songs — without exposing players to heavy theory or fretboard markers. This policy explains what information the app and this website collect, how we use that information, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you choose to give us
We do not require an account to use Sisco's Guitar Trainer. If you message us through the Contact us link on this website, we receive only the contents of that message and the email address you choose to send it from. We do not subscribe you to anything, and we do not share your message with third parties.
Camera, motion, and on-device AR processing
The Augmented Reality (AR) trainer uses your device camera and motion sensors to detect finger placement on the guitar fretboard while you finger live scale patterns. This processing happens entirely on your device. Camera images, finger-tracking data, and motion data are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored after a session ends. You can deny or revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings; the rest of the guitar trainer continues to work without AR features enabled.
Usage and diagnostic data
The app may collect anonymous usage information such as which guitar lessons you opened, how long you practiced guitar scales or guitar chords in a session, and which fretboard patterns you completed. This data helps us improve the app and is used in aggregate form only; we cannot tie it back to you. If you have opted out of sharing analytics with developers in iOS Settings, this data is not collected.
Advertising, attribution, and app event data
The app includes Meta technologies, including the Facebook SDK for App Events, to help us measure app installs, app launches, purchases, checkout activity, and the effectiveness of ads for Sisco's Guitar Trainer. These app events may be sent to Meta along with technical information such as your device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, timestamp, and advertising identifiers when your device settings allow them. Purchase or checkout events may include event details such as value, currency, product, or subscription status, but we do not receive or send your Apple payment card details.
Third parties, including Meta, may collect or receive information from this app and from other apps and websites and use that information to provide measurement services, to target and deliver ads, and to improve ad performance. You can limit advertising tracking through iOS Settings, including App Tracking Transparency choices and Apple advertising settings. If you use Facebook or Instagram, you can also manage ad preferences and activity shared by apps and websites in your Meta account settings. Camera images, AR finger-tracking data, and motion data from the guitar trainer are not sent to Meta.
Device information
When you load this website, our hosting provider may record standard server log information including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of the request. We use this only for security monitoring and basic analytics about which pages (such as the guitar songs, guitar tabs, or guitar trainer landing sections) people visit most.
How We Use Your Information
The information described above is used only to:
- Run the in-app AR fretboard trainer, motion-based finger tracking, and the rest of the guitar lessons experience on your device.
- Improve guitar trainer features, fretboard visualizations, and the scale and chord drills we offer.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We use advertising and measurement tools only to understand app performance, measure ad campaigns, and support the app's growth. We do not embed the Meta Pixel on this website.
Third-Party Services
When you install or update the app, Apple's App Store handles the transaction under Apple's own privacy policy. Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple; we do not see your payment details. The app may also use third-party services for advertising, app event measurement, and analytics, including Meta/Facebook technologies and Apple-provided App Store services. These services may process information as described in this policy and in their own privacy policies. If we integrate optional services in the future — for example, sharing your favorite guitar tabs or guitar songs with a friend — you will be informed before any data is shared, and you can decline.
Children's Privacy
Sisco's Guitar Trainer is suitable for players of any age learning to play guitar. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or this website, please reach out through the Contact us link and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it.
